Balancing Act: Workshop with LLRRLLRR
{~ '2026-11-14 00:00:00' | amDateFormat: 'D/M/Y' ~} {~ '14:00' ~}
What is the weight of the things around us? Balancing Act explores new ways of working with found materials and using balance as a method of construction. Through hands-on experimentation with everyday objects and discarded materials, participants will investigate their properties, relationships and potential for temporary structures. The workshop will begin with an introduction to the Estonian architecture studio LLRRLLRR’s approach to tracing material flows and finding new ways of working with existing matter. This will be followed by a collective search for materials and a practical session in which participants will build a temporary structure based on the principle of balance.
No prior experience or materials are needed to take part. The workshop will be held in English.
